We have three wonderful sons and daughter-in-laws and eight grandchildren. Our eldest son, Bob, graduated from American University in Finance and is a Senior Partner in a Commercial real estate firm in Washington DC. Jake graduated from Webb Institute of Naval Architecture in marine engineering and design and a MBA from William and Mary and now works for a major oil company in Texas. The youngest, Chris, graduated from West Chester University in criminal justice and is a New Jersey State Trooper.
The grandkids (5 boys/3 girls) are now between 10 and 20 years old and beginning their own college ventures.

Bob and I married in 1965 while attending Penn State where I received a BA in English. After college we lived in Dresher (Fort Washington) PA. While teaching junior high English and remedial reading, I obtained a MEd from Temple. After raising three boys I returned to the outside working ranks as a Customer Service Supervisor and Corporate trainer for the Prudential Insurance Company (AARP Division) and continued my education at LaSalle University, earning a MA in Marriage and Family Counseling/Pastoral Counseling. Disliking the “corporate world” I opened a private practice in Marriage and Family Counseling and concurrently was a partner in a consulting firm (training and staff development) for several years. But my BEST job I’ve had to date is being a Grandmother!!

After living in Dresher for 35 years and Bob retired, we moved to our former “escape home” (now much expanded) on a lagoon on Osborn Island in Mystic Islands NJ. I have had some health issues, but I still work (very part time) and am so grateful for my family, friends and clients.
