I remember Nancy Tschoepe (Sparklin) and I switching places and answering to each
other's name in Mrs. Yocum's class. We really had her confused! We still are best
buddies and keep in touch. I really have great memories of selling Xmas trees for DE,
and having snowball fights. Remember Paul and Danny?

Joan (Sutton) Twaddell - (Joan)
I used to paint China but gave that up when some of my pieces blew up in the kiln.
Then I painted with oils on wood and slates. Then my daughter and I started doing
the Bob Ross painting. Otherwise, I enjoy reading and swimming at a local pool
(about 20 miles away!)

While still in school I worked at Hepco, Inc. in Chester, then at Dusty's Deli in Village
Green as a fill in until I got married. Then I got volunteered to help out on Howard's
Dads farm on the Conchester. Have been a dairy farmer ever since. We own 131
acres of our own, and rent 42 from a neighbor and 15 from a professor next door.
We have about 95 cows give or take a few, plus about 60 from newborn up. We built
a new milking center about 7 years ago that made things much easier. We recently
put an addition on for more cows and are slowly increasing our herd. I graduated
from driving a car, to a tractor, to driving a chopper! (NO, its not a motorcycle)
Pictures will follow. It is really neat when we are working at night out in the field and
a herd of deer run past, or watch a family of foxes playing.
