My fondest SV memories are of the football games.  I thought the halftime band
performances were as much fun as watching the football games.

I graduated from Goldey Beacom and went to work for the Du Pont Company working in the Plastics Department. While there I met my husband Allen. We were married for 34 years and had two beautiful boys, Allen and Rob.I only have one grandson that I smother with love and affection.

I left the Du Pont Company when my first child was born. After the birth of my second son
I gradually started helping my husband with the family business which was aplumbing,
heating and air conditioning business here in Delaware. We gradually expanded to also
selling heating oil.  We sold the business when my husband's health started to fail.

I love gardening most of all.  Most of my warm weather time is spent in the yard. Since 
etirement I am also indulging my other love of reading and volunteering at my church.
